So lately I've been downloading TONS of music.

I had heard the songs U and Don't Go Away, but they were it.
I just wasn't into them.
But NOW I think it's pretty safe to say that I greatly appreciate them for their music.

Speaking of MIROTIC, I also downloaded The Secret Code.
I'm ashamed.
I bought MIROTIC the Korean Version, but I didn't truly support them this time.

I have to say, however, that I love the tracks.
They're still my NO. 1. And will be for a long time.
It makes me sad that poeple can grow old so quickly in show business.
Especially in Asia, with highly competetive music markets.
Take for example, Korea, with entertainment powerhouses like SM, JYP, and YG. (the big three)
SM positively churns out groups, successful or not.
ShinHwa H.O.T. - senior groups within/formerly part of SM are tiny blips on the radar these days. (*tear tear*)
They freaking set the precedents for the groups today - and we hardly hear about them anymore.
Even my NO. 1's 동방신기 are nearly reaching senior status within SM upon the arrival/debut of groups like Big Bang and SHINee.
It hurts to say that.
Don't get me wrong, though - I like Big Bang and SHINee. It's just that I hate seeing the slight dips in popularity over the years for groups like ShinHwa, H.O.T. , 동방신기, etc.
I'm so happy for 동방신기 successful comeback though.
Their MIROTIC and Secret Code comeback concept has been and is fantastic.
A perfect example of adapting to changes in a market in an industry in which everything depends on popularity.

I recently found out about Sexy Diamond - a streetwear-esque brand in Japan.
I think they're opening a Taiwan branch also.
I love this brand.
It's slightly westernized, but totally NOT at the same time.
It's pretty F-BOMBING awesome.

Theyre both pretty cool.
NamHee is a freshman, and we usually tease him about being emo.

But today he freaked out.
I felt so bad.
David doesn't talk much. He's the strong/silent type.
But I hear he sleeps in class a lot too. ^^

Its been a L O N G week. Midterms. Exams. My downfall.
Pretty eventful, though. My man Barack Obama was officially sworn into office last tuesday at about 12:05.
*clap clap*
I personally celebrated this event with a Chemistry midterm exam.
Aside from this, however, in even more exciting news, is the up-and-coming pop act, TaeGoon.
Actually, this isn't really "new" news - more like recent. The MV has been out for maybe a week?? I think...
His debut MV is called "Call Me."
It's not bad. Great for a debut - catchy song, catchy dancing, tight video. (even though the underground parking level is a bit...overused lately.)
Also - brilliant move to feature THE Kim JaeJoong in Goonie's MV. Apparently, they both came from the same hometown - they're both representin'. JaeJoong/DBSK fans may watch to see Joongie, but I've got a feeling that TaeGoonie will impress them quite a bit.

A bit strange that we don't see a full head-on shot of Goonie's face though. Lots of people think his profile view looks like JongHyun from SHINee. I agree somewhat.
